I Putu Ardika

I Putu Ardika is a young artist from Bali, Indonesia.

Born in 1981 in Denpasar in the south of the island, he began painting at the age of ten. Finishing his schooling he enrolled in art school between 1997 – 2003. Feeling restricted by the formal training he left and joined the artistic community POJOK.

Balinese culture is steeped in creativity and during the 1920s many European artists settled in and around Ubud in the east of the island. It is this tradition that influences I Putu Ardika. Prices range from £750 to £1750.
